This Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the conditions under which clients of Gossips Marketing may request refunds. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. GENERAL REFUND PRINCIPLES
2.1 Service Nature
Gossips Marketing provides digital marketing and development services that are largely non-refundable due to their customized and time-based execution.
These include (but are not limited to):
- Consulting & strategy planning
- Website design & development
- SEO research, optimization & content
- Social media content & management
- Paid advertising setup & campaign optimization
- CRM setup & onboarding
- Market analysis & research
- Time, advisory, and resource allocation
2.2 Non-Refundable Services
Once work has begun, these services cannot be refunded:
- Consultations & strategy calls
- Research & analysis
- Content creation and copywriting
- SEO tasks performed
- Website design, wireframes, or development
- Social media content creation
- Ad campaign setup
- CRM configuration
- Training sessions
- Professional advisory work
2.3 Partial Refund Eligibility
Partial refunds may be considered only under the specific conditions listed in this Policy.
3. EARLY TERMINATION REFUND POLICY (WITHIN 7 DAYS)
3.1 7-Day Refund Window
Refund requests made within 7 days of service commencement follow this formula:
Refund = Total Amount Paid – (20% Service Fee + Minimum ₹2,000)
Examples:
Example A:
- Paid: ₹10,000
- 20% = ₹2,000
- Minimum Deduction = ₹2,000
- Deduction = ₹2,000 (higher)
- Refund = ₹8,000
Example B:
- Paid: ₹15,000
- 20% = ₹3,000
- Minimum Deduction = ₹2,000
- Deduction = ₹3,000 (higher)
- Refund = ₹12,000
3.2 What the Deduction Covers
The 20% deduction (minimum ₹2,000) covers:
- Time spent in consultation
- Research & planning
- Administrative setup
- Strategy development
- Advertising/Analytics account setup
- Resource allocation
3.3 Timeline Calculation
The 7-day period begins from the earliest of:
- Payment date
- Contract signing date
- Official service start date
Requests after 7 days are not eligible for refund.
3.4 Processing Time
Refund processing timeline:
- Request review: 3 business days
- Refund initiation: 5–7 business days
- Bank credit timeline: 2–5 business days
- Total: 7–14 business days
3.5 Eligibility Conditions
A refund request must:
- Be submitted in writing within 7 days
- Have no major work delivered
- Not include received deliverables or website assets
- Have revoked all shared credentials
- Not violate minimum-term contract obligations
4. REFUND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Refunds (minus deductions) may be approved when:
4.1 Provider Failure
- Work not started within 14 days
- Agreed services not delivered
- Major breach of contract
- Service quality is significantly below professional standards
4.2 Client Conditions
- Refund requested within 7 days
- Client’s business shuts down
- Client cannot provide required access due to uncontrollable factors
4.3 Technical Issues
- Duplicate payment
- Provider-side technical failure
4.4 Non-Eligible Situations
Refunds will NOT be given for:
- Requests after 7 days
- Completed work (even if unsatisfactory)
- Change of mind
- Poor campaign results (results are not guaranteed)
- Website published or development begun
- SEO results not meeting expectations
- Client delays preventing work
- Minimum-term contract still active
5. MEDIA SPEND & ADVERTISING REFUNDS
5.1 Media Spend
- Media spend (Google, Meta, YouTube, etc.) is non-refundable.
- Charged directly by advertising platforms.
- Separate from agency fees.
5.2 Campaign Termination
Stopping campaigns does not entitle client to a refund of:
- Media spend already consumed
- Agency fees after the 7-day window
5.3 Unused Ad Budget
- Unused ad balance stays in the client’s ad account
- Gossips Marketing does not refund unused advertising budget
- Refunds (if any) must be requested from the platform
6. WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT REFUND POLICY
Refund eligibility depends on project stage:
Planning (Days 1–3)
Refundable under 7-day rule with 20% deduction.
Design Phase (Days 4–10)
Once design mockups are approved → Non-refundable
Development Phase (11+ Days)
Once coding starts → Non-refundable
Launch Phase
Once site is live → Non-refundable
Deliverables That Make Refund Impossible
- Approved layouts
- Wireframes or UI designs
- Website code
- Content created
- Hosting/domain setup
- Plugins or integrations
7. SEO & PERFORMANCE SERVICE REFUNDS
7.1 No Performance Guarantee
Refunds are NOT allowed because of:
- Low rankings
- No traffic increase
- Competitor outranking
- Algorithm changes
- Penalties
- Client expectations not met
Refund is possible ONLY if:
- No SEO work has started
- Refund requested within 7 days
8. RETAINER & RECURRING SERVICE REFUNDS
8.1 Monthly Retainers
- Within first month: 7-day refund policy applies
- After 7 days: Non-refundable
- Mid-month cancellations do NOT reduce charges
8.2 Annual Contracts
- Refund allowed only within 7 days
- After 7 days: Non-refundable
- Early termination requires full contract payment
9. REFUND REQUEST PROCESS

10. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
10.1 Hinglish Explanation (Client-Friendly)
Agar aap 7 din ke andar refund maangte ho, to 20% ya minimum ₹2,000 (jo zyada ho) deduct hoga.

10.2 Force Majeure
Refunds may be considered in:
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Major infrastructure failures

- Launched websites

12. PAYMENT METHOD & PROCESSING
12.1 Original Method Refund
Refunds processed to:
- Bank account
- UPI
- Card used
- Net banking
12.2 Delays
Total expected timeframe: 7–14 business days
13. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients must agree:
- Not to use partially delivered work
- Not to file duplicate refund claims
- Not to initiate chargebacks after refund
- To revoke shared credentials
14. CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES
Chargebacks may lead to:
- Service suspension
- Account termination
- Additional fees
- Legal action
- Blacklisting
